North Korea has conducted a new missile test
The Communist regime is once again flexing its muscles.
North Korea According to the South Korean military, it shot down another ballistic missile towards the open sea on Sunday.
This was reported by South Korean news agency Yonhap and the office of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida (65).
The rocket, which was not described in detail, flew in the direction of the Sea of Japan (Korean: East Sea). Further details were not announced at first.
The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan arrived in the South Korean coastal city of Busan on Friday to take part in planned naval exercises between the two countries on the Korean Peninsula. The maneuver should also act as a deterrent against North Korea.

UN resolutions prohibit North Korea from testing any range of ballistic missiles, which, depending on the design, can also carry nuclear warheads.
Most recently, in June, North Korea fired eight short-range ballistic missiles toward the open sea to the east from at least four different locations. North Korea is also said to be preparing to launch a submarine-launched missile.
Tensions in the region have risen after North Korea conducted a series of nuclear-tipped missile tests this year.
More recently, the largely isolated country’s parliament passed a law on its nuclear energy policy. Among other things, it provides for the use of nuclear weapons not only during an attack by enemy forces, but also during an impending attack on the leadership. In effect, nuclear first strike was legalized.
Talks between the US and North Korea have been stalled since a failed summit between the two countries in Vietnam in February 2019.
