Even though the rumored Nokia 8 has been spotted on GFXBench several times in the past. But this time around, all three variants of the purported Nokia 8 have surfaced on GFXBench bearing model numbers TA-1004, TA-1052, and TA-1012.
That said, the GFXBench listing shows all three variants as Nokia 9 instead of the Nokia 8 earlier predicted expected to launch on August 16. As far as specs go, the latest listing shows that the purported Nokia 9/Nokia 8 flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor bundled with Adreno 540 GPU.
In terms of memory, it’ll offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded via microSD slot. The device will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Elsewhere, the listing suggests the Nokia 8/Nokia 9 will feature a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Not to forget, the newest GFXBenxh listing also shows that the device will feature 12MP front and rear cameras both of which are capable of 4K recording.
Notably, the same set of specs also showed up on Antutu’s database except for the camera bit which shows 13MP+13MP dual-lens cameras.
HMD Global is expected to unveil the long-rumored Nokia 8 at an event in London on August 16 alongside a couple of other handsets, possibly a 3G variant of the Nokia 3310 along with the budget-friendly Nokia 2.
In terms of pricing, earlier reports speculated that the Nokia will be priced below 600 Euros ($710 approx.). However, fresh reports suggest it could be priced well below the aforementioned price. Latest reports have cited Romanian publication Mobilissimo who has apparently nabbed the pricing of the upcoming Nokia 8 via Vodafone Romania. A black color variant of the handset was listed for 2254 Lei, which roughly translates to $611.66.
