A great deal has been leaked about Motorola’s upcoming Moto X4 smartphone in the past few weeks. Now, the latest leak claims to have revealed key specifications as well as color options of the next-gen Moto X.
According to latest renders posted Android Authority, the Moto X4 will sport a glass back along with a dual-lens primary camera setup. Now, this falls in line with earlier leaks, as tipster Evan Blass also tweeted images of the next-gen Moto X showing a dual- camera setup. Elsewhere, the leak reveals that the Moto X4 will be offered in a choice of Super Black and Sterling Blue color variants when it launches.
Furthermore, the latest renders also show very thin bezels on the front along with a Home button. It also appears that the fingerprint sensor will be integrated within the Home button, as the leak shows that the back of the phone has no sensor.
As far as specifications go, the Moto X4 is said to feature a 52.-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. As per earlier leaks, the Moto X4 will run the Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with Adreno 508 GPU.
Notably, fresh reports suggest that the Moto X4 will have two variants – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage while the other will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That being said, the 3GB/32GB model is expected to release in the US, while the high-end model will be for Asia Pacific region.
The highlight of the Moto X4 would be its dual-lens primary camera, which is expected to feature a 12MP and 8MP sensors. For selfies, the handset is expected to feature a 16MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture, with 4K recording.
Juicing up the smartphone will be a 3000mAh battery coupled with Motorola’s proprietary TurboCharging technology. However, there’s no word as far official release date is concerned. Though tipster Roland Quandt earlier posted on his Twitter account that the 32GB variant of the Moto X4 will carry a price tag of EUR 350, which approximately translates to $411.
