If you’re looking to satisfy your cheeseburger cravings this week for less, you’re in luck.
McDonald’s is offering a double cheeseburger for 50 cents on Wednesday for National Cheeseburger Day. The offer is only available on the McDonald’s app.
But these companies aren’t the only ones offering such deals. Burger King and Wendy’s are also reportedly offering deals to customers this week.
McDonald’s days are long gone from serving us miniature versions of popular shoes as Happy Meals.
BK is offering a free cheeseburger to Royal Perks members with any purchase on Sept. 18, according to an announcement. People magazine.
Wendy’s is running a multi-day deal where customers can get a cheeseburger and bacon for 1 cent off with any purchase. Wendy’s customers must also use the chain’s app, People reports.
Both BK and Wendy’s did not immediately respond to a request for comment from FOX Business.

Pasadena, California, is credited with giving birth to the American cheeseburger. Lionel Clark Sternberger, 16, was working at his father’s roadside burger joint called The Rite Spot in 1924 when he “slapped a slice of cheese” to hide a burnt patty or satisfy a customer’s request, according to The Hill. Nonprofit organization Visit Pasadena.
Fast food chains have tested different promotions, freebies and changes to menu items in order to attract customers who are struggling due to ongoing inflation.
