The much-anticipated Moto Z2 Force was expected to be unveiled last month, however that did not happen. Now, the successor to last year’s Moto Z Force has purportedly been spotted on popular benchmarking site Antutu. The upcoming Moto Z2 Force bearing model number Motorola XT1789-05 has been listed on Antutu running some top of the line hardware.
Moto Z2 Force Specs
Coming to the specifications, the Antutu listing shows the handset running the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The processor gets paired with Adreno 540 GPU and 6G of RAM. Elsewhere, the listing shows a 2K screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. That said, the size of the display has not been revealed by the listing.
Furthermore, the Moto Z2 Force is expected to come with 128GB of built-in storage. As far as OS goes, the device has been spotted running Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The listing also shows that the smartphone will feature a 12MP primary camera, along with a 5MP front-facing shooter. Now, this is quite contrary to earlier reports which hinted at a rear dual-camera setup with 12MP+12MP lenses on board.
Interestingly, the listing comes soon after Motorola sent invites for an event in New York on June 25. Motorola currently has two smartphones which are likely to go official shortly. One of them is Moto X4 while the other is Moto Z2 Force. The latter will be Motorola’s flagship model for the Moto range, which will also support a wide range of Moto Mods. These modular attachments come in real handy as they enhance the phone’s overall functionality and user experience.
It’s also worth noting that Motorola has is said to launch the Moto Force Z2 via multiple carriers in the United States. As in the past, its top-of-the-line smartphones were Verizon exclusives. Hence, we can expect the Moto Z2 Force to also arrive on AT&T and T-Mobile. More information about the handset is likely to appear in the near future. Till then, keep checking back for more updates.
