Melissa Barrera is no longer playing the lead role The seventh scream. The actor was dropped from the project following a series of social media posts in the wake of the war between Israel and Hamas.
“Gaza is currently being treated like a concentration camp,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post. “Trapping everyone together, with nowhere to go, no electricity, no water… people have learned nothing from our history. As with our history, people still silently watch everything that happens. “This is genocide and ethnic cleansing.”
