Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent special time with Charlotte, George and Louis

On Thursday, September 15, it was reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry found time on their trip to the UK to check in with their niece and nephews. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are staying at Frogmore Cottage at least until Queen Elizabeth’s burial on Monday, September 19, and it’s been some time since they’ve been able to easily see their families in the country.

The call was reconnected when Prince Harry happened to run into his brother William, the newly named Prince of Wales. It was also his 38th birthday, although the Duke did not celebrate in honor of the Queen. He and Meghan were passed by Prince William in their car when the latter returned from Lambroke School with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Each parked their cars and rolled the windows so that everyone could catch up a bit. Harry and Meghan’s two children, Archie and Lilipet, do not appear to be on a trip with them and likely back home in California. The events around the Queen’s death kept everyone very busy, but the Sussex family were seen with Prince William and Kate Middleton on a united front.

The royal couple watched the late Queen’s salutes at Windsor Castle together last Saturday, as they walked around to view the many letters, gifts and flowers that mourners placed for the Queen for the family. It was the first time the Sussex and Cambridge ex have been seen together since March 2020, when they appeared on Commonwealth Day. They even arrived and left in the same car.

Relations have been frosty since Harry and Meghan stepped down as working members of the royal family and moved to the United States, but their loss appears to be bringing them back together somehow.
