Lenovo’s Mirage VR Camera is going to get released on May 4th, 2018. The virtual reality camera is created in a partnership with Google and is now available for pre-order.
It can be seen that Lenovo is interested in VR area and earlier this the company has unveiled two VR devices which are like the Mirage Solo headset and Mirage Camera which let the user capture the content of VR. The Tracker has spotted the Mirage VR Camera on online-site Amazon which you can pre-order. The cost of the camera is said to be $300. It will make easy to create virtual reality content as it is like point-and-shoot and supports YouTube’s and Google’s VR180.
Lenovo Mirage Camera is equipped with 13-megapixel fisheye lenses and has about 2.2-inch touchscreen display. The camera can shoot 4K videos, stream videos directly to the YouTube Live and has the ability to upload the content from Google’s VR180 app. It has the ability to shoot VR with a 180-degree viewing angle. It is not like the panoramic angle but it is convenient to capture. It is also a Daydream compatible device which means the videos you shoot can be played on Google’s Daydream devices.
The Mirage Solo headset has gone for pre-order recently and it is priced at $400 and the entire package with the camera set up will cost you around $700. This VR camera could give way to more VR videos on YouTube. The users of YouTube will able to see more VR videos and Lenovo want to do this as it is going to release its Mirage Solo headset during the month of May.
