Samsung is expected to unveil the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8 at an event in New York on August 23. Key details about the upcoming handset are already out in the open, thanks to barrage of leaks and rumors in the past few weeks. Now, with its official launch almost upon us, Australian tech publication Ausdroid managed to get hands on promotional materials of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8.

The marketing and sales brochure acquired by Ausdroid confirms the upcoming handset’s final design as well as some of its key specs and features. According to the leak, the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a large edge to edge, bezel free 6.3-inch Infinity Edge display with a QHD resolution. In addition, the leak also confirms features such as wireless charging, an improved S-Pen, facial recognition, along with dust and water resistance.

The S Pen on the upcoming Note 8 is expected to get some cool new features. For instance, it can take notes even when the screen is off. Also, users will be able to write messages and share them as GIFs.

Elsewhere, the handset is said to come with a new app called Smart Switch to help users migrate from their old devices to the new Galaxy Note 8.

The brochure also reveals the handset’s dual-lens camera setup, which comes with a 2x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation, along with f/1.7 aperture to aid in low-light photography.

Ausdroid also reveals the color options of the upcoming Galaxy Note that’ll be announced next week in New York. At launch, the handset will be offered in Gold and Black color options. However, the Deep Blue Color variant leaked by tipster Evan Blass this week is expected to arrive sometime after launch.
