Ukrainian forces are victorious at Trioblastenek

Ukrainian media report on the successes of their troops around the link between the three regions of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk. Armed forces are able to cross another river and push the Russians back in areas already in Luhansk.

In the eastern Ukrainian regions of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk, Ukrainian troops continue to push back the Russian enemy. On Monday, Kiev media recaptured the town of Yarova on the left bank of the Seversky Donets. Official confirmations from the Ukrainian or Russian side were not initially available. Videos are already circulating of Ukrainian troops successfully advancing on the left bank of the Oskell in the Kharkiv region near Kubyansk and Borova.

In addition, Ukrainian units crossed the Chiversky Donetsk region near Philohorivka and succeeded in attacking Kreminna. The leader of Donetsk separatists, Denis Bussilin, said on Russian television that the assault on the small city, which had been under Russian control since April, had at least been averted.

According to the military governor of the Luhansk region, Serhiy Haydey, Bilohoryvka is again controlled by Ukrainian troops, and Kreminna is already in the Luhansk region. At the beginning of the summer, the Russian leadership announced that the region had been fully captured. An urgent appeal by the local “Chamber of Citizens” to hold a referendum on accession to Russia soon is evidence of the growing unrest in the separatist region.

On February 24, Russia invaded Ukraine. However, from the beginning of September, Russian units came under increasing pressure and had to withdraw from most of the Kharkov region with losses.
