John Stamos remembers Matthew Perry with a sweet story about his kindness while filming friends.

Sharing a clip from the episode titled “The One With the Donor,” Stamos continued, “I was so embarrassed. We finished the scene and as I started to go back to my dressing room and leave the entertainment industry, Matt addressed the studio audience: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, Give up John Stamos! You guys probably didn’t recognize him at first because he looks so much better in person!”
“I’ve never forgotten that, and the world will never forget you,” Stamos concluded.
Stamos isn’t the only actor sharing fond memories of Perry after his death. The actor, who endeared himself to the world as Chandler Bing on the long-running show, inspired an outpouring of love from fans and stars, including those who, like Stamos, shared the screen with him.
peer friends Alum Aisha Tyler, who joined the cast as Dr. Charlie Wheeler for the sitcom’s final two seasons, also shared an anecdote about a sweet experience she had with Perry before her first scene.

Elliot Gould, who appeared in 20 episodes of the series friends Jack Geller, who eventually became Perry’s on-screen brother-in-law, also described him as a “very talented actor”, adding: “It was an honor to play his father-in-law.”
Perry’s stars, Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, expressed their collective grief on Monday with a joint statement that read: “We are all absolutely devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just castmates.” “We are a family. There is so much to say, but now we will take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
The main cast members added that they would share more in the coming days: “Over time we will say more, when we can. For now, our thoughts and love are with Matty’s family, friends and everyone who loved him.” It’s all over the world.”
Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home, an apparent drowning victim. The results of his autopsy are still pending a toxicology report, which could take weeks to complete.
