Jake Gyllenhaal Takes advice from the late, great Patrick Swayze And bring the force in the first look at a buzzy new movie.

Amazon Studios reel whoosh Thursday’s release included an extensive profile of Gyllenhaal in Road House, the remake scheduled next year for the 1989 action film starring actor Swayze in Donnie Darko.

The short clip shows a shirtless Gyllenhaal, with huge rippling muscles, in what appears to be a boxing ring with rowdy spectators cheering (or cheering) behind him.

The reimagined film follows a former UFC fighter (Gyllenhaal) “who takes a job as a caretaker at a rough-and-tumble house in the Florida Keys, but soon discovers that not all is as it seems in this tropical paradise,” according to The Verge. Press release distributed by the streamer last year.

Starring Kelly Lynch, Swayze’s film has the “Ghost” actor playing a bouncer who must tame outlaws at a wild nightclub in Missouri called The Double Deuce.

The new film is directed by Doug Liman, director of the film Go, and stars Daniela Melchior and White Lotus actor Lucas Gage.

This isn’t the first time Gyllenhaal has teased his extremely chiseled body in the new film.

In March, he made a surprise appearance in… UFC 285 In Las Vegas, Nevada, while filming scenes for the movie.

Gyllenhaal took part in a weigh-in alongside former UFC fighter Jay Herron, who also appears in ‘Road House’, before they filmed a scene together.

Previously, Gyllenhaal played a boxer in the 2015 film “Southpaw.”

The new “Road House” will be released March 21 on Prime Video.
