Along with its 2017 iPhone line-up which includes the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the special-edition iPhone X, Apple also unveiled the new Apple Watch 3 as well as the new Apple TV 4K. The company officially announced these devices during its keynote on September 12, and pre-orders for Apple’s new line-up of devices will be open on September 1.
Readers located in the Pacific Time zone, pre-orders for these devices open at the stroke of midnight, as soon as the clock hits 12:01 AM. While those located in the east coast, pre-orders will open at 3:01 AM tonight.
Apple’s online store is currently down, but pre-orders should go live on the stroke of midnight. Apart from Apple’s official online store, retailers like BestBuy will also be taking pre-orders for these devices. You can also check out your carrier’s website as all major carriers in the US are also likely to start taking pre-orders for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at 12:01 AM PT on September 15.
However, the fastest way to preorder these iPhones would be through the Apple Store iOS app. As with just a few taps on the screen you can complete the pre-order process. Customers also have the option to pay for these devices in full, or opt for the company’s iPhone Upgrade Program.
The iPhone 8 starts at $699 for the 64GB model, while its 256GB variant gets a price tag of $849. The larger iPhone 8 Plus will set you back by $799, while its top-end variant costs $949. Other newly launched devices which include the Apple TV 4K and Apple Watch 3 start at $179 and $329 respectively. Apple Watch 3 with cellular connectivity starts at $399.
