Along with its 2017 iPhone lineup, Apple also announced the latest iOS 11 at its September 12 keynote. The latest version of iOS brings several improvements such as a redesigned Control Center and App store, new features in iMessage, Do Not Disturb While Driving feature, improved Siri, as well as better camera capabilities.
The latest iOS 11 has started rolling out on all compatible iPhone and iPad devices, and Apple has informed developers that the limit for OTA (Over-the-Air) App Store downloads has been increased to 150MB. Now, this wasn’t the case with iOS 10 which had less than 100MB limit for Over-the-Air App Store downloads.
“We’ve increased the cellular download limit from 100 MB to 150 MB, letting customers download more apps from the App Store over their cellular network,” Apple wrote on its developer blog.
