Deadpool 3 has been officially announced and Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine. The actor last appeared as X-Man in Logan, Which was believed to be his last appearance as a clawed hero. Now, Wolverine is coming to the MCU.
Reynolds made the announcement himself in a very wacky Twitter video where he teased the hero’s debut in the MCU but said he had no thoughts on the story. Next, Reynolds asks if Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in the sequel just as Jackman sneaks into the background. “Yes, sure, why not,” says the Australian. Queue: hype.
The clip ends with Wolverine’s claws cutting a Roman “III” through the Deadpool logo, along with a release date of September 6, 2024. To be fair, that’s going to be a big deal.

Deadpool 3 was suspiciously absent from both D23 and San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, which makes this even more surprising. The project has been laid off for some time with Marvel president, Kevin Feige, says He wants to “raise [Deadpool] The way we were able to do with Civil War, Infinity War, and Ragnarok. “a year ago , Feige promised the film would be rated R.very.
Deadpool 3 will notably mark the debut of either its titular antagonist or Wolverine as part of the current MCU, something that has only been possible since Disney purchased Fox. Many MCU projects have been teasing mutants in general and the X-Men in particular since the beginning of Marvel Phase 4And the Patrick Stewart appeared as a version of The Tenth Professor In Doctor Strange in the multiverse of Madness.
