HTC revealed its Vive Pro at CES event in January 2018. The pricing of the Vive Pro and the information about the specifications are now made available by HTC. The shipping of the Vive pro will be starting on April 5, 2018. Customers can pre-order this HTC Vive Pro for $799. The HTC Vive Kit also sees a price drop of about $100 and the cost of the same is $499.

The customers who have purchased the HTC Vive Pro HMD before June 3, 2018, will be receiving a free trial of six-month to the Viveport subscription. This gives you an option to choose up to 5 titles per month with more than 400 titles available.

The GM of US VIVE, Daniel O’ Brien said that the Vive pro is going to deliver the best quality display and visual experience to all VR enthusiasts. The goal of HTC is to give its users the most premium VR platform and drive adaptation for VR. The price of VR is lowered so that we can provide VR to more customers and expanding the market for VR.

Vive PRO has Hi-Res and 3D spatial audio. It is comfortable with high display resolution. It has got a Dual AMOLED 3.5” diagonal screen with a resolution of 1440×1600 pixel. The refresh rate is about 90 Hz and the field of view is 110 degrees. Vive Pro has an integrated microphone with Hi-Res certificate headset. It got SteamVR Tracking, G-sensor, gyroscope, Proximity and IPD sensor with USB-C 3.0, DP 1.2 and Bluetooth. You can adjust the lens of the VR as Eye relief with lens distance adjustment.
