The movie, which is set to shoot in the coming weeks in Bulgaria, will see Hellboy stranded in rural 1950s Appalachia with a rookie BPRD agent. There they discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local demon with a troubling connection to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.
