Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks may have just come from the son of a Rockstar employee

Just a few days before the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 premiere arrives, unverified reports have emerged of new leaks for the game that may have come from the son of a Rockstar employee.

As reported eurogamer, The leaks appear to come from TikTok and claim to show a few seconds of GTA 6. GTABase.com, One of the most trusted accounts covering Rockstar Games shared that “in a completely unexpected turn of events, the ‘leaked’ footage appears to have come from the son of a Rockstar Games employee.”

The account went on to say that it saw no evidence that Rockstar removed the video, but that “the evidence that the video came from someone associated with the employee in question is fairly compelling.”

Finally, GTABase.com notes, “It is possible that the photo used as evidence is not the employee’s son, or that the source of this leak is from a third party trying to appear as such.”

Either way, now might be a good time to ignore keywords like Grand Theft Auto 6 and GTA 6 on social media and be careful online as there is now a greater chance of being spoiled by things that can potentially appear online.

The official Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will be revealed on Tuesday, December 5 at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET.
