Friday the 13th: The Game update brings a major new offline feature

Friday the 13th: The Game gets a major new update ahead of Christmas which is now available on the PS4, and will soon be available on Steam and Xbox One. The new update brings a new feature that allows users to play the game with offline bots in all maps, which lets users learn all the maps, practice roles, as well as play offline.

Additionally, the new update also spikes up the level cap to 150, brings new skins, and also comes with more grab kills for Jason.

The new update is now available for free; however, players will have to use in-game currency to get access to the DLC. Not to forget, the new update also arrives with a new playable character, Shelly Finkelstrin – the man who handed Jason his iconic mask.

“The man responsible for ‘handing’ Jason his mask, Shelly Finkelstein will be coming back to Camp Crystal Lake to troll his fellow”, wrote Gun Media on the game’s official page.

Elsewhere, the game’s virtual in-game cabin also gets a major design overhaul, as well as new secrets.

“For those unfamiliar; the Virtual Cabin is a combination museum to Friday the 13th: The Game, and an interactive dev diary! 2.0 is far larger in scope, not only with information and accessibility, but it includes far more than meets the eye if you start to explore. “The more you explore, the more you’ll discover, and the more everything becomes clear to you, further explained developer Gun Media.

Also, there’ll be holiday events running throughout the Christmas season as well. For instance, players can get double customisation points from December 23rd until January 2nd. Also, there are much higher chances to acquire rare and epic perk rolls from now until December 23rd, along with the opportunity to get audio tapes of Pamela Vorhees and Tommy Jarvis from Dec.23rd to Dec. 27th.
