Fitbit announced its new smartwatch on Tuesday with a price tag of $200. The new Fitbit Versa is the new smartwatch made for the women. It is Fitbit second true smartwatch and it targets the audience who are having a smaller wrist. The look of Fitbit watch is somewhat like an Apple watch. It runs on the new operating system, OS 2.0.
Fitbit’s first debuted its smartwatch version in the market with bringing their first smartwatch name Fitbit Ionic. Fitbit Versa is smaller than is less fitness focus than the watch Fitbit bought last year. Fitbit Versa has a huge range of fitness tracking capabilities. It includes on-watch workouts, 24*7 monitoring of heart rate and fitness tips for the individual. Fitbit is capable of tracking your sleeping times. The watch can also download the apps, store music and answer texts. There are some more extra features present in the Versa watch which is dedicated to the women’s health.
Fitbit Versa is said to be available in three colours namely black, silver and rose gold. The design of the watch is round but squarish with a full touchscreen face. The sports band for the smartwatch is said to be water resistant and sweat resistant and the color variants of the same are peach, black, gray, periwinkle and white.
The battery life of Fitbit Versa is estimated to be of four days. The watch is waterproof up to 50 meters but while going for sauna you have to take off your smartwatch. Fitbit has a memory which can store more than 300 songs and can be pair with Bluetooth headphones. Fitbit is also capable of sending some quick replies to text messages from its pre-loaded replies.
Fitbit Versa has a special-edition in which includes the feature of the contactless payments system, Fitbit Pay which is possible due to an NFC chip that is present in this version of Fitbit Versa.
