Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age gets a remastered high-definition version of the game for the PlayStation 4. The FFXII was released today and developer Square Enix has given us an official launch trailer to celebrate the game’s relaunch.
The new trailer creates the hype and invites newcomers, as well as old-school fans of the franchise, to experience the fantasy world of Ivalice with much-improved graphics and audio.
As one can notice from the Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age trailer, the remastered version of the game for the PS4 features improved HD graphics, alongside upgraded audio which is compatible with 7.1 surround sound.
In addition, the remastered version of the game has also received a slew of enhanced gameplay mechanics, such as a speed mode, improved loading times, a new Trial Mode, autosave, and more.
Elsewhere, Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age also gets overhauled battle dynamics with the Gambit System. Finally, the game brings the latest Zodiac Job System, incorporating major changes to the original License Board system. This allows players to create two out of twelve jobs for every character. The revamped job system offers a more seamless way of customizing your character.
