Saquon Barkley, Jahmir Gibbs, David Montgomery, JK Dobbins and Tony Pollard at times dominated fantasy managers in the first four weeks of the season, but they are all on bye in Week 5. Replacing them will be a challenge, but it appears that some of the pullbacks we thought might be taking place are on the rise again.

D’Andre Swift and Javonte Williams have been ruled out by fantasy managers after a slow start to the season. But Swift came off a dominant 29.5 PPR point performance against the Rams in Week 4, and should have a chance to have another strong outing in Week 5 against the Panthers. Williams just had a strong outing in Week 4 at the Jets, and should perform well again in a bonus game against the Raiders this week.

Hopefully Najee Harris can have his best game of the season against the Cowboys, especially if Jaylen Warren (knee) and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) are out. And inconsistent linebackers like Jerome Ford (at WAS) and Devin Singletary (at SEA) should benefit from some great matchups.

Two big stories to watch for this week are the Colts with Jonathan Taylor (ankle), and what will happen with the Chiefs now that Kareem Hunt is coming off a tough Week 4 game against the Chargers. For Indianapolis, if Taylor is healthy, starting him against the Jaguars is the best-case scenario. If Taylor is out, Trey Sermon becomes at least one flex option across the league.

The Chiefs will likely rely on Hunt against the Saints on Monday night. That might change if Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) is active in Week 5, but as of Wednesday, we view Hunt as an all-league starter.
