Fantasy baseball 2023 Customizable standings and projections tool

This 2023 fantasy baseball kit has plenty of sleepers, advice, ratings and more, but none of them can fit your league. exactly. Now you have the tool that can take your “2.75 points to save” and put your custom ratings into a proper context.

  • Dom Luszczyszyn is the brains behind the fantasy hockey cheat sheet and works with Jake every year to create this cheat sheet that allows you to enter your league settings, modify projections, and basically draft with an improved list of ratings Fully customized for your league.
  • We try to improve and adjust it annually, but there may still be some small bugs. Your feedback is essential in getting this perfect. So please let us know if you have any problems.
  • NB: We are still trying to find a workaround/method to allow CI, MI, DH/UTIL, joint eligibility, P, and multi-function. It’s a tough job with VORP accounts and more, but we try; We promise!

How to use this fantasy baseball cheat sheet – please read on

Step 1: Enable editing

You only need to do this the first time you open a new download.

Step 2: Registry settings

The leftmost tab at the bottom is Settings. If you are in a points league, put the point values in the cells next to the corresponding category. So, if your league gives you 10 points for a win, put the 10 in the cell to the right of the “W”:

You also need to delete all the “1’s” under “Category” in the Hit and Promote categories, as this relates to Roto Leagues.

For Roto leagues, omit the point values and put a “1” in the categories you score. So a Roto League 5 x 5 scoring OBP instead of Average would look like this:

Now go to the right of this page, and put in your squad count (10/12/15 whatever) – the “Players Picked Above Substitution” numbers will change to yellow. Here’s something for more advanced spreadsheets. If you want to assign more oomph to a specific position, change “Replace players selected above” to that position and the sheet will adjust. Higher number = This position becomes more valuable. Lower number = importance has been reduced. It’s currently optimized for Jake’s ratings, but your tastes may vary.

Finally – and this is very important – Enter your “Format”. (points or categories).

Then go to the “Arrangement” tab.

Step 3: Order tab

The easiest way to do this is to sort by rank. Hit the little triangle, sort by “ascending” and it will auto-sort for you. If you want to go deeper, you can also sort by VORP, in which case you want to go to Descending and you may have to double click it to turn it on.

We realize this sounds simple, but it takes into account months of projections, some very serious spreadsheet calculations, standard deviation, substitution level operators and much more.

Step 4: Miscellaneous and Fixes

1. You can do a lot with this tool. If you don’t like the forecast – you can change it. For example, we went to the “Hitters” tab, and dropped Pete Alonso from 39:

To 22 home games:

When you go back to the Ranking tab, you can see that it’s dropped from 80 to 136:

*** IMPORTANT: ONLY CHANGE THE DESCRIPTIONS IN THE “HITTERS” OR “JUGS” TAB **** They won’t take it anywhere else.

2. League players may also notice points Some marginal categories are missing, such as CG, SHO, and CYC. We can’t predict who will bat on the course. And lockouts and full games are such a rarity that we leave it up to you to dedicate one or two a year to shooters and manually boost their value.

3. “Visits” = Single / 1 pointSo, they are the same. Doubles, triples, and home runs are 2, 3, and 4 points, so the “hit” is already included for these points.

4. If you play in AL or NL league only-Just tap on the triangle under “League” in the standings tab, and check out the corresponding league. If you want to include the free agent crop, make sure you have FA turned on.

5. ADP is intentionally empty. This is there if you want to fill it in, it depends on the draft time. Unfortunately, with frequent changes (sometimes daily) and depending on your site (NFBC, Yahoo, etc.), there is no way to get an automated ADP.

6. Saves + bookings It works for me if I use 1 point to save and 0.75 to hold.

7. If you have odd number of teamsall items will turn yellow to decimals like this (causing the Labels tab to populate with “N/A”):

… go to the yellow squares and round to integers and everything will be back to normal:

Step 5: My Team

There is a My Team tab that will allow you to hit your team (or coaching team) and see the projected totals. It’s especially important if you’re doing a simulation (or simulating solitaire) and want to know if your team will compete for a title in Roto, as you can look at past totals and see where you’d finish in the ranks. Just copy the player’s name (or type it in, but spell it correctly). !) from the Standings tab and paste it into the My Team site.

Special “steps”.

guards

  • You need to delete the player from four tabs: Center, Hitters (or Pitchers), Std Dev, and Ranking. Also, this will skew your VORP a bit, which you may/may not want.

Single leagues (AL or NL only)

  • On the Standings tab, there is a column to sort by AL or NL only for the league. Just choose what you like, and voila!

Shuhei Ohtani

  • Yes, there is a special rule for Ohtani (Shohei Ohtani – H is DH, Shohei Ohtani is the pitcher, and he is not a common player for both).

Add categories, etc.

Our columns/categories/stats/fields will all be there. Between my own predictions and the creation of Dom’s cheat sheet, we’re limited in what we have the ability to do. but! To combine all jugs or generate a CI or MI list, this is from Dom:

  • Go to SP
  • Find someone with VORP = 0
  • See how many points he has
  • Find a relief pitcher with these points total
  • Put his rank in settings
  • Do the same with 1B/3B and 2B/SS

Fine! Are you ready to try the tool?! (updated 2/20)
