The CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk has deleted the Facebook pages for SpaceX and Tesla. He joined the most viral movement #deleteFacebook in social media twitter.

In his twitter account, Elon Musk in a series of tweet said that he is going to delete the SpaceX’s Facebook page and also the page of Tesla which is an electric car company. He is answering the messages from the other Twitter users by saying about joining the movement with others. Elon Musk replied to Brain Acton Tweet who is the co-founder of WhatsApp by retweeting “What’s Facebook?” Acton has joined the movement on March 20, 2018, by mentioning the #deleteFacebook hashtag. This move was in response to improperly acquirement of personal data of 50 million Facebook users by Cambridge Analytica. It a firm who work for President Trump’s election campaign and the New York Times was first to report about the news during the weekend.

A Twitter follower who is following Elon Musk asked Musk about the Facebook page delete and he said: “I didn’t realize there was one.” On SpaceX’s Facebook page Musk wrote by adding that “it will be gone soon.” Another user in twitter ask Musk about the Facebook page of Tesla and when it is going to be deleted. Musk replied to that user by tweeting “definitely. Looks lame anyway.” According to Venture Beat, there are more than 5 million followers for SpaceX and Tesla.
