Ellie Goulding looked super sexy in a red bikini while taking an Instagram selfie on New Year's Day.

The 37-year-old singer showed off her amazing figure in a high-waisted two-piece as she relaxed on a sun lounger overlooking the infinity pool on Monday.

Elle showed off her natural beauty, as she pulled her blonde locks back and accessorized with a gold necklace.

The Still Falling For You singer later headed to the beach where she shared a photo of the sunset over the ocean to her Instagram Story.

Ellie, who celebrated her birthday on December 30, also uploaded a photo of her two friends holding a large cake with candles.

The Still Falling For You singer later headed to the beach where she shared a photo of the sunset over the ocean to her Instagram Story.

It comes after Ellie revealed she felt “weak” and “intimidated” while working in almost entirely male-run studios when she began her singing career.

The Love Me Like You Do singer said she would wear loose clothing and no makeup to avoid distracting herself or anyone else.

Ellie said that male producers would ask her out for a drink, and that it would sometimes become a “romantic thing when it shouldn't.” The star said such progress was a “kind of currency” in the music industry.

Speaking on Radio 4's Today programme, Ellie said there was much better protection for young musicians today than when she started her career in 2010, with her record label now providing chaperones and advisers to new talent.

“It was very clear to me that I was a woman and most of the men around me were,” she said. “It was a bit scary, and there were times when I felt a bit vulnerable, and then when I went into the studios years later, I still felt that vulnerability.”

“I would often go alone, spend a lot of time alone, so I found studios on my own and often with male producers, so that was always in the back of my mind.

“I would intentionally go into the studio with baggy clothes, and things like that, not because I thought anything was going to happen, just because I wanted to be there to work and not have any distractions for myself or anyone else.”

Visiting her old college in Hereford as part of a segment on appearing as a guest editor on Today, the artist spoke to students about working in the music industry before the MeToo movement.

The MeToo movement began in 2017 after allegations of sexual assault surfaced against Harvey Weinstein, for which he was later convicted and imprisoned.

It has seen a number of prominent stars come forward with allegations of sexual harassment or assault against prominent male figures.

Ellie, who celebrated her birthday on December 30, also uploaded a photo of her two friends holding a large cake with candles.
