If you’re looking for a brand new gaming console, this holiday season might be a great time to get yourself one. According to a post on Major Nelson, several retailers in the US are now offering a free gift on purchase of the Xbox One or the new Xbox One S. However, the kind of gift you get depends on the retailer from where you’re buying the console.

“The holidays aren’t quite over yet, and we’re excited to offer yet another promotion for your last-minute shopping needs. From Dec. 25 through Dec. 31, when you buy any new Xbox One or Xbox One S console, you’ll get an additional gift at no extra cost”, reads the post.

Last but not the least, most of the retailers are also offering an online-only deal for a $50 gift card. The deal is valid until December 31, so users are advised to avail this offer as soon as possible.

While in case you missed, Microsoft also announced Oculus Rift support for Xbox One games and Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles in VR on December 12. With the update, Oculus Rift owners will be able to stream and play Xbox One games on their headsets by downloading the free Xbox One streaming app via the Oculus Store.

To do so, users are required to connect their Xbox One console to a Windows 10 PC via the home network setup, then download the free Xbox app for Windows 10 to start streaming games on their Oculus Rift headsets.

Besides, Microsoft also confirmed that Windows 10 users can now stream Xbox One and Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles on their PCs via the Xbox app.
