English football legend David Beckham was spotted on Waiting list For the False Queen of London.
Speaking to reporters on the waiting list, Beckham said he had been waiting with members of the public for more than 12 hours.
“We all want to be here together, and we all want to experience something where we celebrate the amazing life of our Queen,” Beckham said.
“You know that something like today is meant to be shared together. So, you know for a fact that we were here. We eat Pringles. We eat lemon sorbet, sandwiches, and coffee,” the footballer continued.
Speaking to an ITV News reporter, Beckham said he “grew up in a house of royals” and came on behalf of his grandparents who he said would have queued up if they were still alive.
Beckham recounted how lucky he was to have met the Queen on a number of occasions, highlighting the honor he felt to play for the England national football team.
“You know I’ve always wanted to represent my country, to be a leader in my country, and every time we stood up when we were wearing the three lion shirts, and I had my wristband and we sang, you know, ‘God save our queen.’ It was something that meant a lot to me. us,” he said.
Wearing a black suit, dark blue coat and flat hat, Beckham said that despite being on the waiting list for more than 12 hours, his “knees were fine,” although the same couldn’t be said about his back.
Beckham has appeared in selfies with fans on social media, and a woman who queued next to Beckham for hours told reporters she had “a lot of respect” for the athlete, who she said “gave his respect as he wanted”.
Queue snakes from Westminster Hall, where the body of the late state king lies, for miles along the south bank of the Thames. It extends past landmarks such as the London Eye, Royal Festival Hall, and Globe Theatre.

Plans were made for it to be nine miles or 14.5 kilometers long.
