Daughter of Putin strategist Alexander Dugin killed

Is it because of the bomb?

The mk.ru website reports that the gas cylinder in the car exploded. It is certain that it is a bomb. However, this is unconfirmed information. Daria Dukina was apparently traveling in her jeep when the incident took place.

According to a report by Russian news website Komersant, Dugin and his daughter Daria previously attended a festival organized by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region and the Odintsovo administration. At the end of the event, the Dugins wanted to leave together, but then left in different cars. Denis Bushilin, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), is said to have already spoken about the Ukrainian offensive.

Referred to as the author of the Ukraine strategy

Alexander Dugin rose to national prominence in the 1990s as the editor of the far-right newspaper Ten. A manifesto published there in 1991, “The Great War of the Continents”, set his vision of Russia as “Eternal Rome” against an individualistic, materialistic West: “Eternal Carthage”.

In 2009 he became the head of the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Sociology of Moscow University. After annexing Crimea, he called for the killing of Ukrainians. Today he is a commentator on Russian television. He is often referred to as “Putin’s brain” because of his political-strategic thinking. The Washington Post credits him as the author of the Russian president’s Ukraine strategy.
