Chris Paul won’t get the $30 million he could have gotten from the Warriors, but it didn’t take long for the point guard to find a new home in free agency.

TNT and Bleacher Report reported Sunday that Paul was planning to sign with the Spurs, with ESPN adding that the deal was for one year and worth at least $11 million.

Paul averaged 6.8 assists and 9.2 points per game last year with Golden State, who acquired him after a period in which Paul was traded from the Suns to the Wizards and then from Washington to the Warriors after a disappointing end to Phoenix’s post-season career.
