Call of duty WW2 – the forthcoming game in wildly popular Call of Duty franchise will soon get a dedicated open Beta for the PC. The PC-only Open Beta for COD: WW2 will be available on Steam, which begins on September 29 and comes to an end on October 3.
However, publisher Activision is yet to confirm the exact time when the open-Beta will arrive on September 29. Also, Call of Duty WW2 open beta won’t be arriving on the PS4 and Xbox One.
“This test is a critical step on our road to delivering the best possible online experience on Steam at launch in November”, said Activision in a statement.
Thanks to the dedicated PC-only open beta, players will be able to try the game out before the final release of its PC version, test the servers, and check whether their hardware is equipped to run the game at launch. Call of Duty: WW2 is slated for a global release on November 3 on the PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. As the name suggests, Call of Duty: WW2 is set against the backdrop of World War 2 with missions ranging from D-day beach landings to the Battle of the Bulge.
