Blizzard Entertainment is all set to host its annual event called BlizzCon 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. The event is the place where all the latest news and upcoming announcements will be revealed about Blizzard franchises such as Diablo, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, along with the company’s wildly popular titles like Overwatch and Hearthstone.
To watch the Blizzcon 2017 keynote live, you’ll have to head over to either Blizzard’s YouTube channel, the official Blizzard website, or the official Blizzard Twitch stream. The opening ceremony will be live streamed on November 3 at 11am PT and run for nearly an hour. The event will be separated into three main stages: Mythic stage, the Hearthstone tournament stage, along with the Overwatch Arena.
The opening ceremony will be free for all, though you’ll have to purchase a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket that costs $40 to check out other content.
In terms of what we can expect from BlizzCon 2017, it appears Blizzard will reveal additional information about the much-anticipated e-sports league for both Overwatch and Hearthstone. Also, a new announcement regarding a new Heroes of the Storm Hanzo is also on the cards.
Sources suggest that both Overwatch Hanzo and World of Warcraft’s Alexstrasza will be included as a part of the Nexus next. BlizzCon 2017 is also expected to see a plethora of announcements for both Overwatch and Heroes of Storm
Rumor also has it that Blizzard is working on a new mobile game based on the Warcraft universe, as well as a new first-person shooter. Hence, chances are that the publisher might share something about its plans for its new mobile game during BlizzCon 2017.
