An item that decides the fate of two NPCs!
If you want to complete the Fire Knight Queelign or Jolan quest while getting some of the best rewards, then you should know Al-Din ring Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation locations, uses, and NPC choices.
For players who don’t know, Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation are two essential items and consumables in Elden Ring that play a vital role in determining the rewards you will get from NPC Jolan and Fire Knight Queelign at the end of their quest.
In this guide, we’re sharing the location of the Elden Ring Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and all the NPC choices associated with them.
Elden Ring Iris of Grace Locations
In the Elden Ring, you can find Iris of Grace in front of a stone desk in a corridor in the Sample Storage area.
To get there, teleport to the Storehouse, Grace’s location on the first floor, and stick to the left side while moving straight.
You will come across an elevator that you must take to descend to the lower levels of the sample vault. Once you get off the elevator, follow the path on the right side and keep moving.
At the end of the room, turn left, use the stairs to go down and then turn left again and again once you enter the infirmary-like area filled with Pot Experiment enemies.
Right in front of the giant inner experimental creature, you’ll find the Iris of Grace.
Apart from that, you can find another statue in front of the Marika statue near the site of the Tree Worship Sanctuary of Grace.
Elden Ring Iris of Occultation Locations
You can obtain Iris of Occultation by defeating Lesser Omenkiller in the lower section of the Fort of Reprimand in the Scadu Altus region of the World of Shadows.
To get there, from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace, keep to the right and follow the main path. Soon, you will reach the Fortress of Rebuke.
Once you enter the fort, either defeat the Lesser Omenkiller in the courtyard or turn left and drop down into the pit. Close to the edge is another horned enemy, which you must defeat to obtain the Mystery Iris.
Another Unseen Iris is obtained after defeating the Lesser Blistering Tree Spirit that appears after clearing the water in the church area.
The Elden Ring uses Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation
Both are consumable items in the Elden Ring that you can consume to get the Blessing of the Great Rune equipped, just like the Rune Arc, although we do not recommend consuming them as they are required in a few NPC quests.
Both items are linked to two NPC quests: Fire Knight Queelign and Jolan.

Which one should you choose?
As mentioned earlier, Iris of Grace can be used to obtain Spirit Ash of Fire Knight Queenlign and Jolan. While Swordhand of Night Jolan Spirit Ash can be transformed into an upgraded version through the use of Anna, another swordhand, the overall effectiveness of Spirt Ash is okay.
Existing Spirit Ash items like the Black Knife Tiche and Mimic Tear are still some of the best Spirit Ash items to use in the game.
On the other hand, if you give Mystery to Jolan and Fire Knight Queelign, you’ll get their weapons, which we think is a much better option than Spirit Ash.
However, the choice depends on you and your needs. While choosing between Iris of Grace or Iris of Occultation for Fire Knight Queelign is easy, for Jolan, players may be tempted to go to Swordhand of Night Jolan Spirit Ash to guide Anna so they can both exist together.
