Personally, I can’t see myself using Best Buy’s standalone transfer service unless I’m using a large device or a ridiculous number of smaller items (I don’t know anyone with dozens of laptops, MP3 players, or old cell phones lying around). It’s not because I don’t want to recycle, but because I don’t think you should pay nearly $200 to someone to recycle it for you. You can easily deliver small items at Goodwill or another consignment store. As for larger products, such as televisions, you can sell them locally or even put them on your curb for someone to get for free.
