Japanese gaming giant Nintendo joined hands with DeNA to create a mobile-optimized version of the famous Nintendo franchise. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a free to play game which is heavily inspired by its console sibling, however, brings subtle changes in gameplay that are optimzed for mobiles.

In the game, players must create their own campsites where they can invite many characters from Animal Crossing’s universe and strengthen bonds with them to make progress and earn currency. You don the role of a campsite owner who needs to create a nice theme for your campers to impress them and make sure they want to stay there.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp offers a variety of themes, so players can customize their camps in unique ways to attract their visitors. You can choose among Sporty, Cool, Natural, and Cute themes. All themes in the game also come with furniture and amenities which are specially designed towards a theme. Your campsite also has a beach, island, or a river which can also be customized to impress your favorite camper.

Just like any free to play, players will have to use in-game currency or real-world money to unlock special items and other upgrades. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp has two main currencies, called Bells and Leaf Tickets. Bells can be used to purchase and customize furniture while Leaf Tickets can be used to unlock special items and buy high-end furniture.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is available for download on the App Store and the PlayStore. For more information, you can visit the game’s official website.
