Google today released what should be the last major build of the Android 15 QPR1 preview cycle with Beta 3 for Pixel devices ahead of the December launch. It’s been almost six weeks since the last release without any patch in between despite some notable bugs.
Images aren’t available yet, but over-the-air (OTA) streaming on the device is currently live.
Quarterly platform releases provide more significant changes compared to monthly bug fixes. It’s ideal for larger UI tweaks and new features that don’t warrant waiting for the next major Android release.
Historically, QPRs are relatively stable and are released as betas rather than developer previews. Google officially says it’s “suitable for general use,” with Android 15 QPR1 launching in December.
