A young Israeli-American attending a party disrupted by Hamas terrorists on Saturday texted his parents “I love you” and “I’m sorry” before becoming unreachable – as terrifying videos emerged of attackers storming the party and kidnapping attendees.

Hirsch Gulberg Bolin, who just turned 23 this week, was celebrating in the desert in the northern Negev when Hamas gunmen invaded the party and began attacking attendees. his father told The Jerusalem Post.

After texting his parents, “I love you” and “I’m sorry,” Gulberg Pauline became unreachable.

“We just want him to come home and be safe,” his father, Jonathan Bolin, said, adding that if he could tell his son anything, he would say: “We love you.” Come home to us.”

The 23-year-old was also celebrating his release from his military service, which he completed at the end of April.

During his service, Gulberg Bolin drove tanks in the 7th Armored Brigade and later trained to become a medic, his father said, adding that his son thought it was “more interesting than driving a tank.”

Since his service ended, he has enjoyed traveling, music festivals, and watching the Hapoel Jerusalem soccer team.

His father said he was working as a paramedic and a waiter in an attempt to save money to visit India, which had been his long-time dream.

Gulberg Bolin, a native of Berkeley, California, immigrated with his mother, father and two younger sisters when he was just 7 years old.

Hirsch Goldberg Bollen left his family on Friday night at 11pm to enjoy the festivities and has not been heard from since Saturday morning.

The attack on Israel was timed to coincide with a major Jewish celebratory holiday, Sechat Torah, and came on the 50th anniversary of the 1973 war in which Arab countries bombed the country on the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur.

A Hamas spokesman claimed that the number of Israeli hostages taken was “Much bigger than Netanyahu thinks.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared: “We are at war” and pledged that Hamas would pay “a price it has never known.”
