Alcatel company has confirmed that two new phones will be coming to the US. The two phones will be in budget phones bracket and it will be shown at Mobile World Congress 2018. The name of the two phones is said to be Alcatel 1X and Alcatel 3V. Alcatel 1X is the first phone of the brand to have Android Go and Alcatel 3V is the dual-camera smartphone. Both the phones will be GSM-unlocked.

The exact date of the launch of the phone is not yet finalized but they are coming to the US is confirmed. Alcatel usually does not launch its budget devices stateside.

The Alcatel 1X smartphone has 18:9 display aspect ratio with a cost of $100. The aspect ratio of the phone helps the phone to look like a modern device. The Alcatel 1X also has a MediaTek MT6739 with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. The 18:9 aspect ratio has a resolution about 480×960. The phone has a 13-megapixel camera with 5 megapixels front-facing camera. As per Alcatel, the Alcatel 1X will have a fingerprint sensor for the US variant.

The Alcatel 3V have some better features than Alcatel 1X. Alcatel 3V is the company’s first dual-lens smartphone camera for the US market. The phone has a MediaTek MT8735A processor with 2GB RAM. The Alcatel 3V have two storage variants i.e 16Gb or 32GB storage. The rear camera of the phone has a 12-megapixel sensor while it got 5 megapixels for the front-facing camera. The phone has an 18:9 aspect ratio display with the 1,080×2,160 resolution. The Operating system for the phone is Android Oreo.

Alcatel does not confirm the dates for the launch of the two budget smartphones but it gives us hint that it will be coming soon.
