IFA 2017, which is all set to go on from 1st September to 6th September 2017 in Berlin, is going to witness bunches of gadgets and accessories launch from the Taiwanese multinational Acer. As planned, Acer has shown up at IFA 2017 with clusters of new electronic hardware and gaming accessories to play with. For gamers, Acer has launched a whole new series of desktops, thus expanding its gaming product line-up, and also an entirely new collection of accessories including headsets, monitors, and mice in-hand. For everyone else, the firm has introduced the new Acer Aspire S24, which is a new all-in-one PC that can add “touch of functional elegance” to your workplace.
Let’s have a look at the details of the products, launched by the Xizhi-headquartered firm in IFA 2017.
The first new Predator line launched by Acer at IFA 2017 is the Orion 9000 series of desktops. Featuring an 18-core Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition, the Orion 9000 series is for game enthusiasts. Outfitted either with four AMD RX Vega GPUs or two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti cards, the Orion 9000 is powerful enough for handling high-end targets. Moreover, it is also a VR-ready device which is capable of producing games at 8K resolution. The Orion 9000 line will hit the commercial outlets in North America in December this year, with a starting price of $1,999.
The second product from Acer is the Aspire S24 wall-in-one PC which is the thinnest all-in-one PC, ever presented by Acer. This 23.8-inch PC, whose thickness is only 0.23 inches (5.97mm), has 2.7mm bezels on the top and side edges. Equipped with Intel’s new 8th generation Core processor, and an expandable memory option up to 256GB SSD and 2TB of HDD space, Acer Aspire S24 will be available in the retail outlets of U.S. in January 2018, with the starting price of $999.
Acer Predator X35 is another gaming laptop from Acer which holds a curved 35-inch display, mated on WQHD (3440 x 1440) display resolution. In this latest gaming console, Acer has integrated both HDR and a high 200Hz refresh rate for a superior experience. Likewise, there is also Nvidia’s G-Sync technology support and 4ms response time. With an expected starting price range of more than $1,000; this super-modern gaming laptop is estimated to hit the market in 2018’s Q1.
Predator Galea 500 is one of the two new Predator-branded accessories, launched by Acer at IFA 2017. Galea 500 is the next-gen gaming headset, equipped with exclusive features like Acer’s TrueHarmony 3D Soundscape technology and bio-cellulose-based driver diaphragm. As claimed by Acer, this gaming headset is designed to deliver 3D sound quality and seamless adjustment features to users. The device also has three usage modes at your discarding, including EQ music, movie, and sport. As expected, it will be available in both North America and EMEA in November with a starting price of $299.99 and €299.99 respectively.
Last but not the least; Acer also has introduced a modifiable mouse, called Predator Cestus 500 at IFA 2017. This ultra-modern ambidextrous gaming mouse features several customisable options including a “dual switch” and flexible click management structure. This RGB mouse also has come with eight programmable buttons for allowing gamer an ultra-modern gaming experience. With the price tag of $79.99, Acer’s new Mouse will be available from November onward.
