A 36-year-old woman was found dead Thursday after falling into the sea from the MSC Meraviglia cruise ship bound for Port Canaveral after a cruise to the Caribbean. The crew conducted an immediate search and rescue operation, along with the US Coast Guard supporting the search effort with boats.” and a helicopter. Unfortunately, despite a quick rescue operation, the passenger was fatally injured. We offer our full support to the authorities as they investigate this matter. The Coast Guard says the incident is under investigation. The woman’s identity has not been revealed.
