A new trailer shows Chainsaw Man anime to premiere in October

MAPPA Unveiled a New Trailer For Next chainsaw man Japanese comics On Friday, the Japanese voice cast of the series introduced and announced the series’ premiere in October. Crunchyroll will simulcast chainsaw man In the United States, as has happened with many MAPPA animations in the past including Jujutsu Kisen And the Attack on Titan Final Season Part Two.

The trailer begins with a shot of Makema, one of the series’ main characters, surrounded by two demon hunters, as she enters a warehouse full of mutilated corpses. The trailer turns into a series of shots of hero Denji and his fellow demon hunters Aki Hayakawa, Bauer, and Makima going about their daily lives before escalating into a montage of denji’s now-turned-attacks and ripping demons with his hands with a chainsaw.

Based on the extremely violent action horror manga produced by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the series follows Denji, an orphaned teenager living in a world inhabited by demons, and supernatural monsters born from human fears.

Along with his pet saw demon named Pochita, Denji is forced to work as a demon hunter to pay off debts left by his father’s absence. After being betrayed and left for dead, Denji makes a contract with Pochita, fusing the creature with his dying heart to become the Sawman, a frighteningly powerful demonic human-human hybrid with the ability to summon saws from his body.

The anime is set to adapt the first part of the manga, the Public Safety Arc, which ended on December 14, 2020. The second arc of chainsaw man Mango just startedwith new chapters published every Tuesday and available to keep reading Shounen Jump.
