DOOM game is about a year old but the Bethesda is now proving that it is never late to do any work. The DOOM game is getting a 4K upgrade on the game consoles which bring this game to a new level.
DOOM look slick on consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This does not knock out the Nintendo Switch version of the game and it makes a good job of making the game look like solid on a glorified tablet. PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X are the new versions of Sony and Microsoft’s consoles. The games are getting a whole new facelift in terms of graphically enhanced technology.
As per Bethesda blog, the DOOM is going for a complete upgrade and is getting a 4K upgrade on Thursday. The 4K upgrade will not bring anything special for the players playing on the OG versions on consoles. These update will look better on Pro or X or if you got a 4K television. This is the right time for players to get into the DOOM as the game will be seen in a new avatar.
The blast of BFG, glory killing of demon and chainsaw slice through a Mancubus will be on a new level on consoles. It does not make sense whether you are a new player or just jumping back to Praetor Suit, you will be experiencing a Hell to yourself.
DOOM is not the first game to get a 4K upgrade as other games like Assasin’s Creed origins, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of War, Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 already got the 4K upgrade. These games usually look good irrespective of the platforms you are playing but according to fans, they look even better when they run in 4K mode. Bethesda has posted some videos and screenshots about the looks of the DOOM in 4K mode.
