The third big update to Star Wars Outlaws It’s finally arrived with promised improvements to stealth, NPC AI, and more. Unfortunately, the patch also ruined the look of the game on PlayStation 5, with players reporting screen tearing issues that break the immersion in its usually great-looking open worlds.

Star Wars Outlaws Major update 1.3.0 It was released earlier today as promised and marks an important milestone in the blockbuster sci-fi franchise The path towards becoming a timeless classicor at least big money maker Ubisoft originally hoped that would be the case. Highlights in the patch notes include more forgiving stealth conditions in “False Flag” and other missions, fewer crashes while riding fast, more auto-save operations during gameplay, and an expansion of the “required” difficulty range based on the player’s progress. A host of bugs have also been addressed, while overall stability and frame rate drops are also supposed to be better.

Unfortunately, the thing that many players on PS5 noticed immediately after launching the game after the update was none of these improvements, but rather a noticeable visual decrease with screen tearing, i.e. ripples across your TV as you move around the world and up menus. The problems are particularly bad in Performance mode, which is how most people play their PS5 games.

“I loaded the game about half an hour ago and noticed screen tearing right away, I tried playing around with the settings a bit but my preferred quality (40fps) seemed to be the most stable with very little screen tearing compared to the other graphics settings.” wrote one player on subreddit. “I just hope this gets fixed soon since the visuals are the only thing the game really has going for it and having to deal with screen tearing is just getting in the way of overall enjoyment of the game.”

Star Wars Outlaws It has another major update planned for November along with arriving on Steam on November 21. This patch is supposed to delve deeper into improving combat and stealth systems, while also getting a Lando-based story pack and new free contract mission types. He added that month. This is a perfect time to make her an attractive additional opponent on Black Friday for anyone who hasn’t already tried out a Han Solo simulator, at least as long as more visual bugs aren’t introduced along the way.
