The Houston Texans went two wins without a defeat after a stellar defensive performance and a solid performance from C.J. Stroud in a 19-13 win over the Chicago Bears. Stroud continued an interception-free streak that dates back to last season, passing for 260 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was part of a night of eight catches for 135 yards by Nico Collins.
That good night for the Texans offense was also a tough night for the Bears and Caleb Williams. The No. 1 pick had seven shutouts and threw two interceptions in the loss. The Bears played from behind for most of the game and gained just 71 yards on the ground.
On the injury front, Texas linebacker Joe Mixon left the game with an ankle injury in the first half, but was able to return for several games in the second half.
