In the new trailer, Sam Wilson, formerly known as The Falcon, is recruited by newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut) to fill the vacant captaincy position and become a U.S. agent as well.
The captain wastes little time before stopping a would-be assassin at the White House. Then things pick up speed. The quick clip ends with a quick look at new character Red Hulk, who may or may not be Thunderbolt Ross.
Mackie’s The Falcon has officially taken up the mantle of Captain America at the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier On Disney+ in 2021.
In addition to Mackey and Ford, Captain America: Brave New World The film stars Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Zosha Roquemore, and Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson. The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Louis D’Esposito and Charles Neuwirth serve as executive producers.
Marvel Studios Captain America: Brave New World The film will be released in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025.
