Adrian Schiller, best known for his work on “Doctor Who” and “The Last Kingdom,” died on Thursday. He was 60 years old.
The actor's death was confirmed by his representatives at Scott Marshall Partners, who said his family was “devastated by the loss.”
“He passed away too soon, and we, his family and close friends are deeply saddened by the loss,” the agency said. For all independent. He added, “His death was sudden and unexpected, and no further details are yet available about its cause.”
The Post has reached out to Schiller's representatives for additional comment.
According to the agency, the famous actor had just returned home from Sydney, Australia, where he was performing in a production of “The Leham Trilogy.” He was “looking forward” to continuing the tour, which was scheduled to continue in San Francisco.
Schiller's death was also confirmed by his sister Jenny, who posted the heartbreaking news on the actor's account X account (formerly Twitter)..
“Dear ones. This is Jenny. “I am so sorry to tell you all that our beloved brother Adrian passed away suddenly at home yesterday,” she wrote. “He had so many dear friends – sorry to those of you learning about this here. We will talk more about funeral and/or memorial plans in due course.
According to his grieving sister, Schiller's family has set up a fund for his son Gabriel and asked many of her brother's fans to donate whatever they can spare.
She continued: “Right now, we are taking things one step at a time, supporting Melina and Gabrielle the best we can and trying to realize the unthinkable.” “Please do not send flowers but if anyone wants to make a gesture we will set up a Trust for Gabriel and there is a link below.”
Rufus Norris, director of the National Theatre, also wrote a moving tribute to the actor.
“We are deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of our company member and friend,” Norris wrote. From the theater's X account. “His final performance as Henry Lehman in the Australian premiere of The Lehman Trilogy was outstanding, and his presence in the company will be greatly missed.”

The actor later appeared in several popular TV shows, including BBC's “Doctor Who,” the comedy-drama “Death In Paradise” and as a servant to the royal family in ITV's “Victoria.”
Schiller has also starred in several notable films such as 2017's “Beauty and the Beast” with Emma Watson, Luke Evans and Dan Stevens, as well as 2015's “The Danish Girl” directed by Eddie Redmayne.
