Malibu Mayor Slams Kourtney Kardashian Over Fraudulent Baby Shower Permit

mayor Bruce Silverstein He says Courtney’s event planner submitted an application to the city to throw a party, claiming it was for a baby shower. They requested an “expedited emergency permit for a major event” on a single-family home. They made the permit in part because there were parking issues with the crowd. They were also renting the house…it wasn’t Courtney’s house.

The mayor says it was all a hoax…the party was actually a promotional event for Poosh Camp…Poosh is Kourtney’s health/wellness brand.

The mayor says the permit application stated that 94 guests would attend a “baby shower,” when in fact about 600 guests showed up for Bush’s party.

He continues… “But I, as an elected official, am appalled by this situation, and it helps me understand what residents are dealing with throughout the city. Not a good look for the city – although it is a great advertisement for non-residents who want to come here and ruin our enjoyment.” Peaceful residents in their homes.

It’s not over yet… “My understanding is that the event was represented as a baby shower hosted by the property owner. Both of these representations are inconsistent with what the event planner told me – which is that the house is being ‘rented’ for an ‘impact event’. It is clear that One story or the other is false.

The mayor says none of the Kardashians attended the event…it was all a commercial promotion. Celebrity guests included Diplo, Ariana Madix And the Gorillaz.

Mayor Silverstein is requesting an internal investigation to determine if any city employees were “complicit” in the alleged fraud. A city council meeting is scheduled for Monday.
